I really love that the people I am meeting and hanging out with in NYC are completely embracing my veganism. I have gone to so many places and no one has turned a nose up yet :-) I am a lucky girl. This trip had truly been exactly what I needed… time away with good food and friends. Relaxing and discovering. I will be a bit sad to end it. So yesterday… after a walk in Central Park… we cleaned up and met Matt’s friend Carolyn (who is making us vegan dinner tonight!) at Caravan of Dreams. This wonderful little gem tucked away in the lower east side. The ambiance alone was desirable. The food… on the pricey side, but completely worth it. Everything so fresh and full of flavor… funny how eating organic tastes the best. The evening ended with Matt’s show, some drinks, good conversation and then the NYC subway home. I am loving this city.
